In April 2012, I was referred to Shaul Hendel, L.Ac. by my wife for ongoing numbness in my feet. Upon describing my issues in my feet Shaul diagnosed my condition as neuropathy. He then prescribed regular treatments for this condition, initially on a weekly basis followed later by twice a month. As other physical ailments in my hip, sinuses and back have also occurred Shaul provided treatment for these conditions too. He has also both consulted and provided me what herbs would best treat some of my issues, like plugged sinuses, to improve my overall well-being. The professional therapeutic treatments I have received has stopped my neuropathy from further inching up my leg. In fact, it is arrested it in my feet with some nerve sensitivity having been restored.
Shaul is a pleasant, caring person with a good sense of humor. He always starts each therapy session seeking how I am doing physically and emotionally. Then both before and during treatments informs me what he is administering and what it should accomplish accordingly. Shaul is a gifted practitioner, and has always impressed me with his strong desire to help me, as well as all his patients, to help them reach their health goals. His staff are friendly professionals whom also make patients feel at home during their visit.
Shaul has a great understanding of the science of acupuncture and herbal treatments. His passion to treat individuals with physical issues is evident in his desire to help people in Ithaca as well as the Triple Cities.
